Stay connected to every piece of equipment you service

Every unit you install or service is a relationship that can last for decades. ServiceTagPro is designed to keep your company easy to reach as your business grows and changes: a branded tag marks the place, your current contact details live in the cloud, and the equipment's history helps every technician arrive prepared.

ServiceTagPro is in development; this page describes how it is designed to work for you.

A ServiceTag is a small NFC tag on the equipment: no battery, no internet connection, nothing private stored on it, and read by the phone you already carry. New to NFC? Start here

Dana's heating and cooling company

An illustrative story. The people and companies in it are fictional.

  1. Installation day Dana runs a twelve-technician heating and cooling company. Her crew installs a furnace, registers its details and applies a ServiceTag branded with the company logo and phone number. Before leaving, they show the homeowner how one scan brings them back for service.
  2. A different technician, months later Eight months on, Luis is sent for a noise complaint. He has never seen this furnace, but one scan shows him the installation notes, readings and photos before he opens a panel.
  3. The customer comes back When the homeowner needs service again, they scan the tag on the furnace and reach Dana's company with the unit already identified, instead of searching for an old invoice or calling whoever ranks first online.
  4. Knowing where she stands If the customer later approves a change of their ongoing service provider, Dana learns that the relationship ended, and why if the customer chooses to say, instead of guessing from silence.
  5. The business moves forward Dana later moves the office and changes the service number. She updates the company's published contact details in ServiceTag Cloud, so customers scanning their tags can find the new details without a visit to replace each label.

What you gain

Your brand, with a current way back

Put your logo and phone number on the tag, and keep the scan's contact details current in ServiceTag Cloud. Customers have somewhere to start even when old contacts and invoices are gone.

A better-informed field team

Technicians see the unit's history, readings, photos and colleagues' notes before they start, with or without signal.

Service requests that arrive complete

Requests are designed to arrive tied to the exact unit and location, with the customer's description and photos, instead of a vague phone message.

Knowledge that stays with the business

What your technicians learn is recorded against the equipment in a shared company workspace, not on personal phones or in someone's memory.

Retention you can measure

A customer-authorized change of provider is a recorded event, so you can count confirmed losses instead of inferring churn from silence.

Next to the tools you use

ServiceTagPro is designed to be the equipment and service-history layer beside your scheduling, accounting and field-service software, not a replacement for it.

No extra hardware

Your crew uses the ServiceTagPro app on the Android phones they already carry, personal or company-issued. No scanners or readers to buy.

When things change

Planned continuity: these examples describe the contact updates, authorized handovers and guest access we are building.

Does a ServiceTag replace our branded sticker?

It can be your branded sticker. Your logo and phone number remain visible, with a simple prompt to scan for service. The scan provides current contact details and links a service request to the right equipment, while private details and history require authorized access.

What if our phone number, email or address changes?

Update the published company details in ServiceTag Cloud. The tag points to a cloud service page, so those details are not frozen into its chip. The printed number stays as printed; the scan provides the current route back to your company.

What happens if we merge, sell the business or lose a contract?

The planned handover keeps equipment history intact and updates the approved service contact. Access follows the customer's authorization through the change, so an acquisition or a different contractor does not silently inherit private records. Customers stay because you make service easy, while retaining their choice of provider.

Can a specialist contribute without joining ServiceTagPro?

Planned guest access lets an owner, or a manager authorized to act for them, invite an outside specialist by email. A verified invitation opens online browser forms for the agreed equipment and visit, with the work attributed to that contractor. No app or ServiceTagPro signup is required.

NFC privacy: what is actually on the tag?

Why the tag needs no battery or internet connection, how the phone powers it, and what another person can learn by scanning it.

A commercial product. ServiceTagPro is for organizations: your company signs up for a ServiceTagPro account, and your team signs in with their own ServiceTagPro accounts. Customers and tenants can request help without an app or a ServiceTagPro signup. Invited contractors will be able to use the planned guest portal without joining a company workspace.
